New Registration for Online Courses

For RPL’s or DEA’s:

If you have an @ag.tamu.edu address, request course access through AgriLife People (ALP) at https://agrilifepeople.tamu.edu and log in with your AgNet credentials.

  1. Click on the green button that reads “Access Self-Service IT System”
  2. Select the “D2L-Brightspace Online Courses” option, and follow the instructions on the screen
  3. Once access is requested, it will be approved or denied based on organizational role
  4. If approval is granted, an email will be sent to the user’s primary AgNet or TAMU email address – this email will prompt the user to create a password for the respective account inside Brightspace
  5. Once the password has been established and the user has successfully logged into Brightspace, the relevant course(s) will be accessible under the My Account\My Courses option.
  6. Click on any desired course to view and edit as necessary

 

If you do not have an @ag.tamu.edu address, email learnnonline@ag.tamu.edu and include the following information:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email
  • Courses you need access to and role needed (usually “instructor”). If you are just wanting to view content then you will request “learner” access
  • The D2L team will send you a follow-up email with instructions on how to access the course

 

For Agents or Specialists:

If you have an @ag.tamu.edu address, request course access to Onboarding for New Agents and Specialists  through AgriLife People (ALP) at https://agrilifepeople.tamu.edu and log in with your AgNet credentials.

  1. Click on the green button that reads “Access Self-Service IT System”
  2. Select the “D2L-Brightspace Online Courses” option, and follow the instructions on the screen
  3. Once access is requested, it will be approved or denied based on organizational role
  4. If approval is granted, an email will be sent to the user’s primary AgNet or TAMU email address – this email will prompt the user to create a password for the respective account inside Brightspace
  5. Once the password has been established and the user has successfully logged into Brightspace, the relevant course(s) will be accessible under the My Account\My Courses option.
