January 18, 2013Please be aware that Networking & Information Security will upgrade to the new Juniper SRX firewalls on January 5 from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM.
When the new firewalls are put in line, ALL ongoing connections between on-campus and off-campus will be terminated. Throughout the maintenance period, connections between on-campus and off-campus hosts may be interrupted or unavailable. What this means to you is access to TExAS will also be affected.
This should only be an hour outage and the system should operate normally for the remainder of the day.
